Dai grows all of the grapes in our wines using only natural fertilizers and without the use of chemical herbicides or systemic fungicides. He has been farming vineyards this way for 20 years. This philosophy of using a natural approach with minimal intervention also drives the winemaking.

A beautiful dry wine with classic Gewürztraminer aromatics. Very spicy, floral, and citrusy. All stainless fermentation. 195 cases. 13% alc. Food Alliance and Salmon Safe Certified.

 

 

2008 Lumos Pinot Gris2009 Lumos Pinot Gris - Rudolfo ($17)

Full of the same beautiful, clean, crisp, citrusy qualities that you love in this Pinot Gris. We keep hearing things like "mmmm pear, mmmm peaches, mmmm grapefruit..." And it just won Gold Medals at the 2010 Oregon Wine Awards and the Northwest Wine Summit and scored an 89 in the Wine Spectator. A total crowd pleaser this one. 818 cases. 13% alc.

 

 

2009 Temperance Hill Pinot Gris2009 Lumos Pinot Gris - Temperance Hill Vineyard ($20)

This is Dai's first Gris from Temperance Hill and it is stunning. A dry, elegant wine that expresses the minerality and terrior of the vineyard. Fresh aromatics of wildflowers and pear tart. Focuses into a long finish. Stainless and barrel fermented. 181 cases. 14.5% alc. Food Alliance and Salmon Safe Certified.

 

 

2005 Lumos Pinot Noir 2007 Lumos Pinot Noir - Five Blocks ($22)

A beautiful, clear ruby/garnet Pinot Noir with the spicy, red fruit and cherry that is characteristic of this yummy blend from four blocks of fruit at Temperance Hill and our one block of fruit here at Wren. Elegant and delicate in the classic Oregon Pinot Noir style. 719 cases. 13% alc.

2006 Lumos Pinot Noir2006 Lumos Pinot Noir - Temperance Hill ($32)

The big ripe fruit of 2006 melded with the warm peppery spiciness of Temperance Hill resulting in this bold, savory and deeply satisfying Pinot Noir. Winner of a double gold at the 2009 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Barreled for 15 months. 574 cases. 15.3% alc. Food Alliance and Salmon Safe Certified.

 

 

2008 Pinot Noir North2008 Lumos Pinot Noir - Temperance Hill North ($38)

Holy Cow! The aroma is floral and thick with dark fruit. Silky and smooth with the spiciness characteristic of Temperance Hill wines. Extraordinarily balanced with a finish that lingers like a really great kiss. Barreled 15 months. 99 cases 14.3% alc. So yummy and limited that you have to buy this one directly from us.
